In Ballet Drama Navillera Two Characters Must Abandon Regret To Soar
At the desk, his granddaughter Eun-ho is told to work onerous, or she’ll end up like his uncle Seong-gwan. And then Lee Chae-rok’s story starts, and his coach Ki Seung-joo is berating him for not being adequate. He wonders why the dancer is hesitating and asks if it’s about his father.
Lee Chae-rok has a fractured past, from childhood to younger maturity, and the k-drama has set the bottom to flesh this out. ‘Navillera’, Song Kang’s latest drama, premieres worldwide on Netflix right now and fans of the actor can’t assist however gush with excitement. 2021 is really turning out to be Song Kang’s year, with unbelievable hits with Love Alarm and the lingering success of Sweet Home carrying themselves over to anticipation for Navillera. First and foremost, I liked the part that their first episode showed an interplay of our elderly and a few of their regrets. The discussion through the wake of certainly one of their friends was catching sufficient. This drama airs on a cable channel/pay TV which normally has a relatively smaller viewers in comparison with free-to-air TV/public broadcasters .
Overall, I think this is going to be a really feel-good, heart warming drama which I need after the depth of the Vincenzo episodes on the weekend. Also, one small gripe, as someone who used to bounce ballet, a few of the scenes where Chaerok was dancing a routine, the steps didn’t fit the music in any respect. I assume that pulled me out of being immersed in the drama. The other airing drama I watch is Vincenzo and I wanted this show to chill out.
Hope the drama doesn’t get tooooo sluggish-paced or boring though. For now the pacing seems alright and the next ep looks prefer it’ll have some laughs thrown in. I’m loving the feeling the scenes evoke, with its muted autumn colours and melodic piano score. The sparse dialogue and quiet scenes make me feel like I’m watching a movie instead. Amidst the motion-charged Vincenzo and Sisyphus which might be on-air proper now, Navillera feels like a pleasant calm respite from all the gunfire and CGI visual effects. I’m loving how we get to have a simple going drama a day after being crushed psychologically by vincenzo hahaha.
